DROP WEIGHT TEAR TESTING MACHINE is mainly used for test of Ferrite Steels to observe Specimen Fracture Surface after impact within the Temperature that Fracture type is converted from Non-ductility to ductility.

Ltd. offer a Range of DROP WEIGHT TEAR TESTING MACHINE for measuring the Fracture Characteristics of Steal Specimens according to APT recommended Practice 5L3, EN 10274 & ASTM-E436. DROP WEIGHT TEAR TESTING MACHINE can be accommodating Steel grades of X120 and Specimens of up to 50mm thick.

Radius of anvil Support is R14.3 ±1.59mm provided, the Specimen is inserted in the Testing Machine so that Notch is lined up with the Centerline of the hammer tip within 1mm. The notch should be centered between the Supports of the anvil.
